Adventures In Art,

A show of two and three dimensional art works, fine crafts( including masks, baskets) and art furniture that explore the colors, textures images and designs of our desert southwest.

Contents Interiors is a high-end furniture showroom and interior design center that currently showcases local artists on a regular basis. To further our reputation as a source for original artwork, we are looking for artisans that produce unique paintings, sculptures, photographs, art furniture, decorative and functional table top items for our annual juried art show.

Show dates are March 5 through April 21 2011.

Opening Artist Reception, will be Saturday, April 21, 1- 4 PM

Deadline for submissions is January 29, 2011. 5:30 PM
Notification of acceptance will be made by March 13, 2010.

Interested artists may send images of work being considered for inclusion in the exhibit to:

Please include the following with your submissions:

Please use the following submission sheet for your entries.

1- Your full name, phone number, address and E-mail address.
2-Images of art work to be considered should be printed hard copy photographs or on CD-ROM.
3-Images should be accompanied by a list detailing title, media, size and retail selling price. No more than ten submissions or entries should be submitted. Please use official entry form attached.
4-Include a self addressed, stamped envelope for return of materials. Materials will not be returned unless a SASE is provided.

Submission deadline is

January 29, 2011, 5:30 PM.

All art works must be for sale. Contents Interiors retains 50% of retail selling price.

Artists must leave work through the entire show. Should a piece sell, artist will be requested to bring in another work to complete the show length.

Accepted items are to be received at the show room February 22 through 26 between 12-5 PM.

Each piece should be labeled with artist name item tile or description and retail price

Artisans should provide a single page artist’s statement or biography when delivering accepted works.

Contents Interiors will provide:

Publicity: A press release to local calendars and inclusion in our In- house flyer & invitation.
Invitations will be sent to the Contents Interiors mailing list. An e-mail version will be sent to participating artists for them to forward on to their own list.
Reception: Light food and beverages will be served.
Insurance: All work will be insured for theft or damage. Contents Interiors is not responsible for artwork during shipping.
